ABOUT US
JSFF – Japanese Serbian Film Festival is annual event in Tokyo and Belgrade (followed with side events across the world) which promote short films from Japan and Serbia by bringing comparative value on art and social phenomenon’s from these countries.
JSFF collaborates with cultural groups and societies from various Applied Arts disciplines in every event, creating better cultural exchange platform for independent artists and art groups as well.
JSFF started in 2014 as Japanese Short Film Festival within Japanizam convention, in first year this event already enjoyed support from credible international Jury with eminent Serbian and Japanese critics, producers and directors. In 2015 event become independent and changed name into Japanese Serbian Film Festival as result of subculture evolution and need to bring two cultures closer through the events.
