JSFF2023 - LASTING
Japanese-Serbian Film Festival (JSFF) celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2023, a testament to the lasting impact has made on promoting cultural exchange between the two countries. This year's theme, 'LASTING', challenges filmmakers to explore the concept of persistence, longevity, and time as essential factors in cinema as well in social phenomena.
Through this theme, JSFF seeks to highlight the enduring relationships and cross-cultural collaborations that have emerged from the festival over the years, showcasing how time has shaped and influenced the works of filmmakers from Japan and Serbia. 'LASTING' also honors the contributions of filmmakers whose works have persisted, impacted, and influenced the trends in cinema. Join us in celebrating the lasting impact of JSFF, and the role of time in shaping cultural exchange through the art of cinema.
